About VIP Solutions"Your ultimate solution in Inventory Control Software " VIP Inventory Control Software was established in 1990 in Kelowna, BC Canada, the vision and realization of Mr. Gary Campbell, an awarded Chef with over 17 years in the food service industry. Throughout his career as a chef, Mr. Campbell had the opportunity to research numerous inventory control systems. Although there were several on the market during this time not one of them offered a comprehensive, integrated inventory control management software system that addressed real world purchasing designed to meet the food service industry’s requirements. Armed with the knowledge of the food service industry and the desire to meet the needs of that industry, Mr. Campbell set about to resolve this problem in the mid-80’s by pursuing a career in Computer Programming. After several years of development, VIP Software entered the market in 1991. Over the last 18 years VIP has evolved from a basic Inventory Management Software tool to a very detailed and comprehensive solution . Driven by our diverse customer base and their needs, VIP Software became a leader in Hospitality Inventory Cost Control and Inventory Management Software by being the first to implement a real world purchasing subsystem that worked and was practical. VIP was developed ahead of its time and had to wait for the industry to recognize the need to automate to control costs. In 1997, Mr. Campbell sold his interest in VIP Software to his business partner, Mr. Stephen Passas of New Jersey, USA. Mr. Campbell has since developed a new venture called Promote My Career. It was at this time that Mr. Passas became the President and CEO of VIP Solutions along with Mrs. RJ Lesher, Director of Operations. Mr. Passas and Mrs. Lesher bring to the company extensive knowledge in the practical application of advanced automation technologies in the hospitality industry. Mr. Passas’ years of experience in Senior Management and Corporate Sales provides the company with a realistic understanding of the hospitality industry’s requirements for inventory control. Mrs. Lesher's years of experience in Inventory Cost Controls, Software Development and Adult Education provides the company with a complete solution for implementing Inventory Control that is the most effective and efficient it can be. In 1997,VIP’s Sales Office was relocated to West Berlin, New Jersey to allow Mr. Passas to focus on VIP and our sister company, Advanced Hospitality Systems (AHS). AHS is a established POS VAR organization in the Northeast and is a leading Aloha POS reseller. This specialized alliance has enhanced VIP’s abilities to meet the requirements of the End User By allowing us to test new applications and to have a real ear to the market. AHS remains instrumental in assisting in the development of the new VIP for Windows and securing a client base for new software. VIP’s development office has remained in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, and is under the direct management of Mrs. RJ Lesher, Director of Operations for VIP Solutions. Mrs. Lesher is a Computer Programmer/Systems Analyst with over 20 years experience in the computer industry and over 15 years in the Adult Education Industry, specializing in Software/Hardware Education. Mrs. Lesher leads the development team and provides technical support and training to all VIP customers. The development team brings forth over 35 years of combined experience in software development and systems analysis, with backgrounds in both the public and private sectors. VIP Inventory Software expanded into Mexico and has established a Latin American Sales/Training Center located in Mexico City. Our products can be found in countries worldwide.
