Prep Forecasting

VIP Inventory Software helps you determine what to "Prep"

Determining what and how much to prepare is difficult at best. Based upon historical sales and/or preparation data, VIP Inventory Software can determine preparation and production quantities using the Prep Forecasting feature. User's are able to pick historical sales data days and the system will calculate the average usage for all Entree Recipes.

  • Quantities can be "tweaked" by positive or negative factors, such as +12% or -5%.
  • VIP Inventory Software can generate a "Preparation Task List", cooks may be assigned specific tasks, and estimated preparation time is detailed. A consolidated list of stock required, inclusive of waste/trim requirements is also presented.
  • Pull times are generated for products used to create the ingredients involved in all the recommended Recipes.
